Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
MacFly Snack Shack is a mobile event catering business providing hot dogs, popcorn and candy floss services for private parties, festivals, school events, community gatherings and corporate functions across Aberdeenshire and surrounding areas.
2. Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once agreed by both parties.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and busy event periods.
MacFly Snack Shack reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.
3. Deposits & Payments
A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
Remaining balances must be paid before or on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
4. Cancellations
Customer Cancellation
Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
If cancellation occurs close to the event date, additional charges may apply depending on preparation costs and scheduling.
MacFly Snack Shack Cancellation
In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather, vehicle breakdown, illness or emergencies), customers will receive a refund of any payments made where applicable.
5. Weather & Outdoor Events
For outdoor events, suitable space and safe operating conditions must be provided.
MacFly Snack Shack reserves the right to suspend or stop service if weather conditions are considered unsafe for staff, equipment or guests.
6. Power Requirements
Some services may require access to a suitable power supply unless otherwise arranged.
Power requirements will be discussed during the booking process.
7. Food Allergies & Dietary Information
Allergen information is available upon request.
While we take food safety seriously, products are prepared in environments where allergens may be present. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination.
Customers are responsible for informing guests about potential allergens where appropriate.
8. Service & Setup
Our packages include setup and operation during the agreed service period.
Service duration and package details will be confirmed prior to the event.
Additional time may be available at extra cost depending on availability.
9. DIY Equipment Hire
Customers hiring equipment without staffing are responsible for:
safe operation of the equipment,supervision during use,
and returning equipment in reasonable condition.
Any damage, loss or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.
10. Liability
MacFly Snack Shack holds public liability insurance for event catering services.
However, we are not responsible for:
injuries caused by customer misuse of equipment,unsafe event environments,or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
11. Photography & Social Media
We may occasionally take photographs of our setup during public events for promotional and social media purposes.
If you would prefer no photographs to be used from your event, please let us know in advance.
12. Privacy
Customer information submitted through our website or booking forms will only be used for communication regarding bookings and enquiries.
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties unless required by law.
